Tim Evans is a director, producer, writer and actor.

He trained at The Central School of Speech & Drama. 1999-2002

He co-founded The Factory - a London-based theatre collective.

Work produced with The Factory include productions of classic and contemporary plays, and a body of new writing for The Factory Writers Studio and Hampstead Theatre.

The company have played sell out shows at Shakespeare’s Globe, Bristol Old Vic, York Theatre Royal, Hampstead Theatre, as well as various theatre events throughout London, the UK and Europe. 


Tim has overseen collaborations with BBC Radio Drama and have created work for Radio 3 and Radio 4, as well as BBC 1 television.

He lectures on Playing Shakespeare and Creating Theatre both in the UK, and abroad, including The Classical Studio at New York University; Central School of Speech and Drama; and Enterprise Centre for the Creative Arts.
